You are invited to a Seed management workshop that will begin at 1:00 pm on Wednesday March 9th, 2016 at the Kinsmen Centre, on the Centreville Road. Rick Knowles from Washington State University, is a seed physiologist and has done a lot of research on seed aging, how physiological age affects potato plant growth and how we can influence physiological age in our seed. Rick’s work is well known throughout the potato scientific community and being a part of the University/USDA Extension system in the US, he has experience at the practical level as well.  Rick Knowles is originally from Ontario and has worked in Alberta so is familiar with the challenges of short-season potato production.

If you have any question, please don’t hesitate to contact Joe Brennan by phone 506-392-7230 or email jcbrenn@aernet.ca .
